1. Soothing Nutritional Banana Mask

Use a fork to mash up half a banana and place directly on the skin. Don’t mash it to fine or it will be too liquid and slide off your skin – lumps are fine. Add a tablespoon of orange juice for extra vitamin C and an antioxidant boost. A tablespoon of honey will provide additional healing and other benefits.
Apply for about 15 minutes and then gently wipe away with a paper towel before rinsing with luke warm water.

Simple mash up half an avocado and apply to the skin for 10 to 15 minutes. You can combine with a few drops of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice which will cleanse the skin and whiten dark marks while moisturizing it. A teaspoon of honey (preferably Manuka Honey) is a great antibacterial and will further help reduce pimples and acne for a cleaner, clearer skin. It is advisable to gently wipe off the mask (a paper towel will suffice) before rinsing your face with warm water.
3. The Oatmeal Mask
Oatmeal is moisturizing, healing and provides antioxidant properties for the skin. However, some facemask recipes to make at home that include this ingredient are quite complicated.
A simplified version of the face mask recipe is to simply throw all the ingredients in a bowl, mix it up and apply to skin.
– 1/2 cup raw oatmeal
– 1 tablespoon honey
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 egg raw egg yolk
Leave the mixture on the face for 15 to 20 minutes. It is best to wipe it off with a paper towel and then rinse the skin before the mask begins to dry or set.
