Have you always wanted to achieve that beautiful cat eye look with your eyeliner? If you’re having a hard time, there are some easy cat eyes makeup tips you can try out. These tips will help you achieve the look every time in a matter of minutes. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be creating this look on yourself as often as you’d like.
Choose the Right Eyeliner
Start by making sure you have the right eyeliner. Some people prefer a pencil liner, some prefer a cream liner, and some prefer to use a liquid liner. You should work with the kind of eyeliner you’re most comfortable using, but it’s important to know that this look is often best achieved using cream or liquid eyeliner.
Start the Lining Process
Rather than drawing your line at the point of your eyelid, you’re going to want to start at the outer corner. You’re going to need to grab your eyeliner and hold it near the outer corner of your eyelid where your top lashes are located. Start drawing a slanted line going up in the direction of your eyebrow. Make sure to stop the line when you get to the top of the eyelid, directly underneath the brow bone.
Now that you have your line, it’s time to create that perfect wing. You’re going to need to take the tip of your eyeliner, place it directly at the tip of the line near the crease of your eyelid, and draw another small line. When drawing this line, you should be aiming in the direction of your eyelashes. Instead of bringing the line all the way down, leave it open.
You’re now going to move away from the outer corner of the eyelid and move over to the inner section. Place the tip of your eyeliner directly on the edge of your eyelid where your eyebrows are located and being drawing a line that will eventually meet with the open line you left at the outer section of your eyelid. Connect the lines and fill in any open areas with your eyeliner.
Finish the Look
Once you’ve filled in any spots that were missing the eyeliner, you should now have the perfect cat eye. Follow the same steps for your other eye and then finish the look with a lash curler, mascara, and false lashes. You’ll need to start by using your eyelash curler. Hold the curler on the lashes for about 10 seconds before applying your mascara to the lashes.
After you’ve curled the lashes and have put on your mascara, it’s time to apply your false lashes. Some people have a difficult time applying false lashes, but the process is easier than you might think. One of the easiest ways to apply the false lashes is to cut them into two equal parts, apply the glue on the edges, and then grab them one at a time while using your eyelash tweezers.
When you have one of the lash pieces in your hand with the tweezers, carefully set it on the edge of your eyelids and push it down directly above your lashes. Grab the next piece and place it on the section of the eyelid where you haven’t placed any false lashes, repeating the same steps.
These cat eyes makeup tips are easy to follow. If you’ve had a hard time achieving the look in the past, follow these tips and you might be able to get it down in no time.
